Types of Disbelief (Kufr):

The principal types of Kufr that a believer must avoid are:

  • Kufr-Bil-Qawl (disbelief stated verbally)
  • Kufr-Bil-Fil (disbelief shown through action)
  • Kufr-Bil-Itiqad (disbelief of convictions)
  • Kufr-e-Akbar (the main form of disbelief)
  • Kufr-e-Asghar (a small form of disbelief)

A Muslim must constantly say Kalma Radde Kufr in order to avoid all big and little disbeliefs, as it shields us from sins as well as other wrongdoings.

The importance of the sixth Kalima Radde Kufr is as follows

The Arabic term “Kufr” can be translated as “to conceal.” A nonbeliever is called out in the Kalima Radde Kufr because of the fact that he hides the truth about Allah, His oneness, and his sovereignty.

This Kalma enlightens us on the significant Islamic doctrine of unbelief, which in and of itself is a wide subject area.

A firm belief in Allah as one’s god and in Islam as one’s faith is facilitated by this belief system. In addition, reciting the sixth Kalma requires a believer to abstain from a wide variety of big and minor crimes, including backbiting, poor innovations, tale-telling, and other similar behaviors.
